Nomadomo is an artistic research ‘institute’ in the making, with its own publishing house. Its aim is to generate and present knowledge, art, and designs, initially only from BGJ Frederiks, but later, I hope, also from others, each under their own name. Nomadomo acts as a publisher, facilitator or group, not as the owner or producer of knowledge.

Nomadomo, alias BGJ Frederiks, produces books, art, presentations, designs, videos and software… on science, technology, art, humanity, and society. In principle, these involve inventions or reinventions of something found in nature (such as our brain), or descriptions thereof, which clarify the workings of nature, people, and society, or which shed a different light on them, or which otherwise bring happiness. Designs are, in principle, at such an exploratory stage that they must be regarded as art. The method is artistic, but the material is scientific and technical; the result is “truth art” that remains fundamentally unfinished.

Ultimately, it is about the joy of the ongoing evolution of knowledge and ideas; among creators, readers, and viewers; both adults and children.
